To be honest, we can't imagine DNREC imposing fines for not meeting the deadline when it is their agency who has been sitting on this decision for almost two years. That would not be fair to the City of Rehoboth Beach. Perhaps they are working on this agreement for more time because they are looking more seriously at alternatives. That would make for a very Happy New Year!
