Year-Round Water Quality Testing in Delaware

Delaware beaches are used throughout the year especially by surfers on those epic winter swells. Therefore, water quality testing should be extended into the off-season.

The Delaware Chapter convinced the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) to expand their beach monitoring program beyond the normal tourist season to year-round testing.
