Comprehensive Plastic Legislation in Cape May City, NJ

The South Jersey Chapter started working to curtail plastics with the Cape May City in 2018 by showing the film “A Plastic Ocean”, conducting cleanups, and educating the residents.

In September 2019, the city seemed ready for a plastic bag ban and a more comprehensive single use plastic ban. The Chapter spoke at one of their town meetings and has helped town officials with sample ordinances etc.
