DE Plastic Bag Ban Effective Jan 1

Starting January 1 Delaware HB 130 banning single-use plastic bags goes into effect. This makes Delaware the 4th state to implement a ban on single-use bags. The law was introduced by Rep. Gerald Brady (D-Wilmington) and Sen. Trey Paradee (D-Dover). The effort was spearheaded by Plastic Free Delaware, and was endorsed by the Surfrider Foundation Delaware Chapter.
