Folks, after eight long years of fighting the Rehoboth Beach Ocean Outfall pipe, we have an opening to deny the permits. With a new Governor and a new DNREC Secretary, we feel we can convince them to deny the permits to build the pipe.

Outfall Pipe underwater
Delaware tourism can not afford even the perception of pollution at DE Beaches. Call Governor Carney at both of his offices! Dover office -  302-744-4101 and Wilmington Office -  302-577-3210. Use the bullet points below or his own words to make your point.
  • Tourism is the # 4 industry in DE and it employs 42,000 people
  • An outfall pipe from a sewage plant in the ocean could hurt tourism
  • Cheaper alternatives exist and should be permitted instead
Or just use this quote from the Governor which appears on  governor.delaware.gov - "We must protect our environment so our children inherit a Delaware whose natural beauty is preserved." The same page says the Governor will -  Clean up Delaware's Waterways and Improve Recreation Opportunities Outdoors
Please make the calls if you have ever been to DE Beaches, even once! Dover office -  302-744-4101 and Wilmington Office -  302-577-3210.
